DHL Danzas Air & Ocean joins TradeCard network
TradeCard members to benefit from world-class logistics services
New York, June 18, 2003. TradeCard Inc., the leading financial supply chain services provider
delivering immediate supply chain cost savings by optimizing business processes among trading partners over its open
network, announced a partnership agreement with DHL Danzas Air & Ocean today combining their respective services.
DHL Danzas Air & Ocean is the world's leading provider of IT-based total express logistics and freight solutions
and a division within DHL Global and part of Deutsche Post World Net.
Under the terms of the agreement, TradeCard members will be able to select DHL Danzas Air & Ocean to supply
their proof of delivery directly from the TradeCard system. TradeCard members can choose DHL Danzas Air & Ocean's
total logistics offering including air and ocean freight, industrial project forwarding and IT-supported logistics
services (Customer Program Management).
In an additional development, DHL Danzas Air & Ocean and Postbank, another division of Deutsche Post World Net,
are working together to offer TradeCard's web-enabled platform to their global customer base. Joint customers will
benefit from cost-savings and greater process efficiencies resulting from the synchronization of the movement of
goods and the financial processes involved in their trade business.
