- TRADECARD FOURTH QUARTER CLIENT WINS HIGHEST IN COMPANY HISTORY
TradeCard has signed up seven new buyer members for its Financial Supply Chain service in the fourth quarter
of 2003 alone, eclipsing the totals from any previous quarter in the company's history. Clients that signed up
or expanded their usage of TradeCard in the last quarter include Burton Snowboards, Linens'N Things and
Wolverine World Wide. Linens 'N Things, one of the leading large format retailers of home textiles, house
wares and home accessories in the United States, expanded their usage of TradeCard to include additional
services and Wolverine Worldwide signed up their upstream supply chain partner Wolverine Leathers.
- TRADECARD HELPS SUPPLIERS COMPLY WITH CUSTOMER REQUESTS FOR LATEST AS2 TECHNOLOGY
Recently a growing number of leading retailers, most notably Wal-Mart, have asked their trading partners to
start using Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) over the Internet with AS2. TradeCard's web-based technology
platform supports a number of the latest messaging standards such as AS2 (EDIINT Applicability Statement 2),
as well as legacy communication methods including EDI VANs and FTP. By supporting all of these methods,
TradeCard allows the buyer and supplier to use different connectivity technologies whilst communicating with
each other. This allows suppliers to use older technologies (e.g. FTP, EDI, or simple Internet browsers) for
communication with their buyers even if those are already AS2-enabled. Not having to purchase and install yet
another new system helps especially the smaller suppliers.
- GLOBAL FINANCE MAGAZINE SELECTS TRADECARD AS BEST ONLINE TRADE FINANCE PROVIDER FOURTH YEAR RUNNING
Global Finance magazine has again named the "Best Trade Finance Banks and Providers" by category in an exclusive
survey to be published in the February 2004 issue. Global Finance editors - with input from industry analysts,
corporate executives and technology experts - selected the best trade finance providers, globally and in 42
countries or regions. TradeCard was identified as the best online trade finance system for the fourth year
running. Criteria for choosing the winners included: transaction volume, scope of global coverage, customer
service, competitive pricing and innovative technologies. To read more, go to
